Bio

Born and raised in southern California…and I can count how many times I actually went to the beach on one hand. Can you believe it?! All those times I could’ve been reading or writing on the beach….bloomin’ shame. Although, it didn’t really matter where I read or wrote, because I was always somewhere else. A magical realm, a ship on the wind, a moor with steel gray waves crashing down, only to retreat back into the black depths a moment later, leaving a trail of misty pearl sea foam in its wake.

For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be a writer. My earliest of which was, surprisingly, a non-fiction book about the life cycle of butterflies. I wrote the whole thing backwards on the page. I continued to write stories all through school, and as soon as I graduated high school I moved to New York City. Quite the change from southern California, but for the better.

I love all kinds of books, (except non-fiction). I mainly read YA sci-fi/fantasy, adult sci-fi/fantasy and literature. My days consist of writing and reading as much as I can….and being a Netflix junkie, tons of TV. My top five favorite books are ‘The Angel’s Game’, ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’, ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, ‘We Have Always Lived in the Castle’, and ‘The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.’

Aside from my hobbies, I also love various types of tea, dinner food, and walking around Manhattan. And you better believe me when I say the stinkier the cheese, the better it taste.

Hope you enjoy the blog and find some humor in my post.
